Research Scientist
Josh Brown is a research engineer at University of California Berkeley. He has broad interests in nuclear detection research and development including fast neutron and gamma ray detection. He enjoys working at many levels from high fidelity component characterization, to system level design and benchmarking. Josh has a strong interest in object oriented software design for both modeling experimental apparatus and data analysis. He is currently working on several projects. This includes the development and deployment of the GENESIS array, work on the FLUFFY experiments, as well as several smaller efforts on scintillator characterization and neutron diagnostic development.
